Oversize, over-the-knee socks worked in the round from the cuff down in cable patterns.

• 4 3½oz/100g hanks (each approx 270yd/247m) of Lorna’s Laces Sportmate (superwash wool/outlast) in #56ns fjord (blue)
• One set (5) size 8 (5mm) double-pointed needles (dpns) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch markers

Sized for Adult Woman.

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Upper leg circumference 12″/30.5cm
• Foot circumference 8″/20.5cm
• Length from cuff to heel 22″/51cm
• Length from heel to toe 8½”/21.5cm

GAUGE
20 sts and 24 rnds = 4″/10cm over k2, p1 rib slightly stretched, using size 8 (5mm) dpns and 2 strands of yarn held tog.
