A combination of seed stitch and stockinette, this easy-to-make tote is the perfect holder for yarn, needles and a favorite pattern book. The fabric lining makes it extra sturdy and keeps needle points from poking through.

MATERIALS
Sprout by Classic Elite Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 109yd/99m (organic cotton)
• 4 hanks in #4302 lime juice
• One pair size 11 (8mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• ½yd/.5m cotton fabric for lining (optional)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Width 14½”/47cm
• Length 16″/40.5cm

GAUGES
• 10 sts and 17 rows to 4″/10cm over seed st using size 11 (8mm) needle and 2 strands of yarn held tog.
• 10 sts and 14 rows = 4″/10 cm over St st using size 11 (8mm) needle and 2 strands of yarn held tog.
