The skinny stripes on the scarf are mimicked at the lower edge of the hat, but in two different colors. Swap the shades of the Red Stripes with teal and the light gray with teal heather, then lighten the dark gray for a subtler look.

• Cascade 220 by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 220yd/201m (wool)
• 1 hank each in #8400 dark gray (A), #7830 coral (B), #8401 light gray (C), #9493 light peach (D)
• One pair each size 7 and 8 (4.5 and 5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Hat
• Head circumference (at ribbed brim) 17″/43cm
