CABLED POCKET SCARF

This trio of easy-knit scarves features buttoned pockets on either end of a textured main section. The basic repeating honeycomb cable used here is an ideal first cabling project.

MATERIALS
Liberty Wool by Classic Elite Yarns, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 122yd/112m (wool)
• 5 balls in #7885 tangerine
• One pair size 8 (5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle (cn)
• Two 1″/25mm buttons

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 7 x 55″/18 x 139.5cm

GAUGE
27 sts and 27 rows to 4″/10cm over chart pat using size 8 (5mm) needles.

BASKETWEAVE POCKET SCARF

If you can knit and purl, you can work up this textured basketweave beauty.

Liberty Wool by Classic Elite Yarns, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 122yd/112m (wool)
• 5 balls in #7854 lavender
• One pair each sizes 7 and 8 (4.5 and 5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Two 1″/25mm buttons

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 8 x 60″/20.5 x 152.5cm

GAUGE
22 sts and 28 rows to 4″/10cm over basketweave st using smaller needles.
