This tweedy garter-stitch scarf is as simple as can be: Knit one long rectangle, then turn up the ends and sew the sides to form the pockets. The contrast-color bows are knit separately and sewn on.

Serendipity Tweed by Brown Sheep Company, 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 210yd/191m, (cotton/wool)
• 1 skein in #ST72 pink carnation (A)
Cotton Fleece by Brown Sheep Company, 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 215yd/197m, (cotton/wool)
• 1 skein in #CW610 nymph (B)
• One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Width 5″/12.5cm
• Length 40″/101.5cm (after pocket fold)

GAUGE
19 sts and 30 rows to 4″/10cm over garter st using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
