Irresistible miniature mittens warm the hearts (if not the hands) of all who see them. Joined in pairs with an I-cord, each mitten is worked in the round on double-pointed needles with sock yarn.

Step Easy by Austermann/Skacel Collection, Inc., 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 459yd/420m (superwash wool/polyamid)
• Small amounts in #134 red, green, orange, pink multi, and #141 orange, brown, deep teal multi
Step Zodiac by Austermann/Skacel Collection, Inc., 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 459yd/420m (superwash wool/polyamid)
• Small amounts in #152 libra (variegated green) and #154 sagittarius (variegated blue)
• One set (4) size 2 (2.75mm) double-pointed needles (dpns) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch markers and safety pin or scrap yarn
• Size B/1 (2.25mm) crochet hook

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Width at thumb 1½”/4cm
• Length 1¼ (1³⁄8)”/3 (3.5)cm

GAUGE
32 sts and 40 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 2 (2.75mm) needles.
