This fun-to-knit shawl, knit from the neck down, works up in no time in luscious alpaca/silk yarn with a hint of shine. The decorative contrast-color mesh edging adds an elegant finishing touch.

MATERIALS
Metalico by Blue Sky Alpacas, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 147yd/134m (baby alpaca/silk)
• 2 hanks in #1611 silver (A)
• 1 hank in #1612 platinum (B)
• One size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 40″/100cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Two size 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) optional
• Stitch markers

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Width (across lower back edge) 22″/56cm
• Length (from center back) 13″/33cm

GAUGE
21 sts and 28 rows to 4″/10cm, after blocking, over St st using size 7 (4.5mm) needle.
