These hats are worked with an elongated rib created by dropping one of the loops of a double yarn over every other row. Choose from among our solid, colorblocked and striped options, or make up your own pattern scheme.

MATERIALS
Cloud by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 164yd/150m (wool/alpaca)
For Solid
• 2 hanks in #2118 deep teal
For Color Blocks
• 1 hank each in #2121 cadet blue (A) and #2123 dark periwinkle (B)
For Stripes
• 1 hank each in #2117 real teal (A) and #2100 spring green (B)
• One pair size 8 (5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Sized for Child, Woman and Man. Shown in all three sizes.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference 18½ (19½, 20½)”/47 (49.5, 52)cm
• Length (brim folded up) 8 (8½, 9½)”/20.5 (21.5, 23)cm

GAUGE
22 sts and 25 rows to 4″/10cm over elongated rib (unstretched) using larger needles.
