Fair Isle maidens will be mad for a jaunty tam knit in the round on double-pointed needles and kept snugly in place by a corrugated-rib brim.

• 1 3½oz/100g ball (each approx 225yd/206m) of Louet Sales Gems Opal (superwash merino wool) each in #80-2423-8 eggplant (A), #80-2523-8 grape (B), #80-2163-7 indigo (C), #80-2553-8 willow (D), and #80-2037-7 ginger (E)
• One set (5) size 4 (3.5mm) double pointed needles (dpn) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch markers

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference of opening (unstretched) 14½”/37cm

GAUGE
• 23 sts and 29 rnds = 4″/10cm over St st using size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
