Cherensky’s zigzag-insgnia V neck shows you’ve got plenty of horse sense. One sleeve’s red, the other’s black; jagged intarsia stripes traverse the standard-fitting body.

• 7 (7, 8, 9) balls in #255 Lipstick of Cottonade by Knit One, Crochet Too, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 83yd/76m (cotton)
• 7 (7, 8, 9) balls in #900 Jet
• One pair each sizes 8 and 9 (5 and 5.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO GET THE GAUGE
• Size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm length

GAUGE
• 16 sts and 22 rows to 4″/10cm over St st and chart pat using larger needles.
