Holmfeld’s bucket-style hat conveys the dramatic contrast between stockinette and garter stitching in its oversized brim and loose crown. An elastic band is threaded through the knitted casing to custom-fit head size.

• 1 hank in #2016 chocolate (B)
• One each size 9 (5.5mm) circular needles, 16″/40cm and 24″/60cm lengths
• One extra size 9 (5.5mm) needle
• 20″/51cm ½”/12.5mm wide elastic
• Stitch marker

GAUGES
• 12 sts and 16 rows = 4″/10cm over garter st with 2 strands of yarn held tog.
