Circular knit welted cowl with short row technique used for placed welt widening.

MATERIALS
• 4 3½oz/100g hanks (each approx 175yd/160m) of Louet Gems light worsted weight (wool) in #44 champagne
• One size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch markers

SIZE
• One size fits most.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Lower edge 39½”/100cm around
• Upper edge 34½”/87.5cm around
• Joining point 18″/45.5cm deep

GAUGE
• 18 sts and 28 rows = 4″/10cm over welted ridge pat (unstretched) using size 8 (5mm) needles.
