TIE BACK SHELL

A come-hither tangerine shell worked from the ribbed tie band outward. The stitches are picked up from the tie’s edge and knit downward, then upward for the leaf-lace bodice.

• 7 (8, 10, 11, 12) balls in #77 Mango of Samoa by Zitron/Skacel Collection, Inc., 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 116yd/106m (pima cotton)
• One each sizes 3 and 4 (3.25 and 3.5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm long, OR SIZE TO GET THE GAUGE
• One pair each sizes 3 and 4 (3.25 and 3.5mm) needles
• Size C-2 (2.75mm) crochet hook
• Stitch holders and markers

• Sized for X-Small (Small, Medium, Large, X-Large). Shown in size Small.

GAUGES
• 22 sts and 31 rnds to 4″/10cm over St st using larger needle.
• 22 sts and 33 rows/rnds to 4″/10cm over lace pat using smaller needle.
