A simple watch-cap shape is touched with texture, courtesy of a fetching knit/purl lozenge pattern. It’s knit extra long to accommodate the fold-over band. Choose a contrasting color for the pompom for extra pizazz.

Cascade 220 by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 220yd/201m (wool)
• 1 hank in #7812 lagoon (MC)
• 1 hank in #8891 cyan blue (CC optional)
• One size 6 (4mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (5) size 6 (4mm) double-pointed needles (dpn)
• Stitch marker

Sized for Adult Woman.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Head circumference 20″/51cm
• Length (with folded brim) 8¼”/21cm

GAUGE
20 sts and 30 rnds to 4″/10cm over lozenge pat using size 6 (4mm) needles.
