A cropped topper with saucy short sleeves and sewn-under hems takes shape in a slipstitch pattern. It’s the self-striping yarn that creates the built-in patterning.

MATERIALS
• 10 (11, 12) skeins in Wooly Stripes by Nashua Handknits/ Westminster Fibers, Inc., 1¾ oz/50g skeins, each approx 88yd/80m (wool) in #54 purple passion
• One size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch markers & holder
• Four ⅞-inch/22mm buttons

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bust (closed) 34 (36½, 39)”/86 (92.5, 99)cm
• Length 19 (19, 20)”/48 (48, 51)cm
• Upper arm 14¾ (14¾, 15½)”/37.5 (37.5, 39.5)cm

GAUGE
• 13 sts and 32 rows to 4″/10cm over textured pat st using size 9 (5.5mm) needle.
