Tweedy yarns lend a casual touch to this graceful slouchy hat, which is worked from the top down. The subtle side pleats are formed by simple decorative ssk and k2tog decreases.

Tara Tweed by Tahki Yarns/Tahki•Stacy Charles, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 122yd/112m (wool/nylon)
• 1 ball each in #015 teal tweed (A) and #009 moss tweed (B)
• One set (4) size 8 (5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long
• Stitch markers
• Sewing thread and needle (optional)

Sized for Adult Woman.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Brim circumference (unstretched) 18″/45.5cm
• Length 10″/25.5cm

GAUGE
18 sts and 31 rnds to 4″/10cm over St st using size 8 (5mm) needles.
