Intarsia work is used to create the effect of scales in six shades in this sultry, snake-inspired pillow. I-cord “slithers” wrap around the edges to complete the look.

• 1 cone each in #1 Pearl, #20 Onyx, #2 Silver, #19 Bronze of Karat by Skacel Collection, Inc., 1¾oz/50g cones (each approx 143yd/130m (viscose/polyester metallic)
• 2 cones each in #4 Gold, #5 Dark Gold
• One pair size 10 (6mm) knitting needles OR SIZE TO GET THE GAUGE
• Two size 3 (3.25mm) double-pointed needles
• 14″/36 cm square pillow form and tapestry needle

• 14″/36cm square
GAUGE
• 16 sts and 20 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 10 (6mm) needles and 2 strands held together.
