Working this top side to side allows for a nifty trick: The drop stitching forms horizontal stripes rather than vertical ones. Garter stitching sandwiches the stockinette body to create instant borders.

Pima Silk by Cascade Yarns, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 109yd/100m (cotton/silk)
• 4 (4, 5, 6, 7, 7) hanks in #0010 cream
• One size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook
• Stitch markers
• Safety pin
