Knitting this clever garter-stitch shawl is easier than it looks: Self-striping yarn creates the subtle color shifts, while short rows shape the angles. The edging is knit separately, then sewn to the shawl edge.

Boutique Unforgettable by Red Heart, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 280yd/256m (acrylic)
• 2 skeins in #3960 tidal
• One pair size 8 (5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch holder

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 8 x 60″/20.5 x 152.5cm

GAUGE
18 sts and 36 rows to 4″/10cm over garter st using size 8 (5mm) needles.
