A clever spin on the traditional, this close-fitting, double-breasted pea coat is worked in a nubby seed stitch in two coordinating shades for a tweedy look.

Difficulty level

MATERIALS
• 13 (13, 14) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 114yd/105m) each of Koigu Wool Design Kersti (wool) in #1300 dk brown (A) and #1305 beige (B)
• One pair each size 8 and 10 (5 and 6mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 10 (6mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long
• Six 1″/25mm buttons, stitch holders

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized for Small (Medium, Large). Shown in size Medium.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bust 36½ (40½, 45½)”/92.5 (103, 115.5)cm
• Length 26½ (27½, 28½)”/67 (70, 72.5)cm
• Upper arm 14 (14½, 15)”/35.5 (37, 38)cm

GAUGE
• 14 sts and 24 rows = 4″/10cm over seed st using larger needles and 1 strand each A and B held tog.
