Newton’s car-length coat is rife with patterning, featuring a textured chevron body, reverse-stockinette sleeves, welt-stitch turn up cuffs, and a ribbed neck band.

• 14 (16, 18) 3½oz/100g balls (each approx 110yd/100m) of Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, Inc. Creative Focus Chunky (wool/alpaca) in #289 earth heather
• One pair each sizes 8 and 9 (5 and 5.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm length
• Five 1″/25mm buttons

GAUGES
• 16 sts and 24 rows = 4″/10cm over chart pat using larger needles.
• 16 sts and 20 rows = 4″/10cm over rev St st using larger needles.
