An abundance of silver satin ribbons festoon this stockinette shell. The ribbons are tied through the finished fabric, so you can use as many (or as few) as you choose. The folded picot hem is child’s play to work and gives a dainty, feminine finish.

MATERIALS
Ultra Pima by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 220yd/201m (pima cotton)
• 2 (2, 2, 3) hanks in #3967 deep coral
• One pair each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch holders
• 3yd/2.75m of velvet ribbon, 1⁄4″/6mm wide
• Needle and matching thread (optional)

Sized for Child’s 4, 6, 8, 10. Shown in size 6.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Chest 24 (26, 27½, 29)”/61 (66, 70, 73.5)cm
• Length 15½ (16½, 17½, 18)”/39.5 (42, 44.5, 45.5)cm

GAUGE
24 sts and 29 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using larger needles.
