Two types of ribbing give this hat its character: Start with k3, p2 ribbing on the border, then switch to broken rib.

MATERIALS
Boston by My Mountain/Schachenmayr Original, 1¾oz/50g skeins, each approx 60yd/55m (acrylic/wool)
• 2 skeins in #00171 sage green
• Sizes 9 and 101⁄2 (5.5 and 6.5mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (4) size 10½ (6.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn)
• Stitch marker

Sized for Adult woman.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference (unstretched) 18″/ 45.5cm
• Length 8½”/21.5cm

GAUGE
12 sts and 18 rnds to 4″/10cm over broken rib, slightly stretched, using larger needle.
