A single row of contrast color perks up the edges of these marvelous mitts. They’re quick to knit in rows of ribbing. Thumbs are picked up from an opening in the side seams and tipped as well.

MATERIALS
Shepherd Worsted by Lorna’s Laces, 4.16oz/118g hanks, each approx 225yd/206m (superwash wool)
• 1 hank each in #61NS washington (lime–MC) and #49NS periwinkle (CC)
• One pair each sizes 7 and 8 (4.5 and 5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (4) double-pointed needles (dpn) size 7 (4.5mm) for thumb
• Stitch marker

Sized for Small/Medium (Large/X-Large). Shown in Small/Medium.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference approx 6¾ (7½)”/17 (19)cm*
*Note due to the elasticity of the ribbing the mitts will pull in or stretch to fit.
• Length with cuff unfolded 11¼”/28.5cm

GAUGE
20 sts and 22 rows to 4″/10cm over k2, p2 rib, slightly stretched, using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
