A little bit nerdy, a little bit rock-and-roll, this ear-flapped cap is knit flaps-first and then picked up in the round. The attached braided cords are anchored by added pompoms.

• 1 ball each in #130 Grass (A), #99 Fisherman (B), #152 Charcoal (C) of Wool-Ease Chunky by Lion Brand, 5oz/140g balls, each approx 153yd/140m (acrylic/wool)
• One size 10 (6mm) circular needles 16″/40.5 length and one set (4) of double pointed needles (dpn’s) OR SIZE TO GET GAUGE
• Size J-10 (6mm) crochet hook
• 2½”/6.5cm pompom form, stitch holder and stitch marker

• Circumference (unstretched) 21″/53.5cm
• Height 12″/30cm
GAUGE
• 12 sts and 18 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using 10 (6mm) needles.
