A stable staple, Patrick’s boxy plaid jacket is worked in several knit pieces. The plaid is a combination of knit-in stripes and vertical slip stitch applied after the fact.

MATERIALS
• 3 balls in #177 Loden of Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease, 3oz/85g balls, each approx 197yd/180m (wool/acrylic)
• 2 balls each in #153 Black and #171 Gold
• 1 ball each in #138 Cranberry, #152 Oxford Grey and #174 Avocado
• One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO GET THE GAUGE
• Size I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook
• Bobbins and two 1¼”/32mm buttons and 3 sets of large snaps

• Bust (closed) 36 (39)”/91.5 (99)cm
• Length 23 (24)”/58.5 (61)cm
• Upper arm 17 (18)”/43 (45.5)cm

GAUGE
• 18 sts and 24 rows to 4″/10cm over St st and plaid chart pat using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
