The main body of this hat, adorned with separately knit details, is worked in the round without shaping; the top edge is bound off and then seamed. The ear flaps are worked downward and tipped with I-cord ties.

Everyday Soft Worsted by Deborah Norville Collection/Premier Yarns, 4oz/113g balls, each approx 203yd/186m (acrylic)
• 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) balls in #100-18 cornflower (A)
• Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in black, white, and orange
• One size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One pair size 9 (5.5mm) needles
• Stitch markers

Sized for Newborn, 6–12 months, 1–2 years, 3–5 years, 6–10 years. Shown in size 3–5 years.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference 11 (14¾, 16½, 17¼, 18¾)”/28 (37.5, 42, 44, 47.5)cm

GAUGE
18¼ sts and 24 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using smaller needles.
