Knit lengthwise in a wide-striped garter-ridge pattern, this unisex scarf begins with a provisional cast-on that is later unraveled and bound off.

MANS’S SCARF

• Cashmere Fleur de Lys by Debbie Macomber Blossom Street Collection/Universal Yarns, 1¾oz/50g skeins, each approx 93yd/85m (wool/cashmere)
• 3 skeins in magic (black MC)
• 2 skeins in hope (gold CC)
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 40″/100cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook
• Scrap yarn for provisional cast-on
• Size 9 (5.5mm) needle for binding off loosely

• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 61⁄2 x 59″/16.5 x 149.5cm

GAUGE
• 18 sts and 38 rows to 4″/10cm over garter st using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.

COWL

• Mongolian Cashmere 12-Ply by Jade Sapphire Exotic Fibres, 2oz/55g hanks, each approx 70yd/64m (cashmere)
• 3 hanks in #69 tuscan sunset (gold)
• One size 10½ (6.5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle (cn)
• Stitch marker

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference (at lower edge) 30″/76cm
• Depth 10″/25.5cm

GAUGE
• 12 sts and 20 rnds to 4″/10cm over St st using size 10½ (6.5mm) needles.
