Another straightforward openwork pattern yields gorgeous results—this time, in a rectangular stole. Bands of garter stitch alternate with the repeats of the basic lace scheme.

Ecco by Zitron/Skacel, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 121yd/111m (wool)
• 4 balls in #136 pumpkin
• One pair size 9 (5.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 13½ x 62″/34.5 x 157.5cm

GAUGE
15 sts and 20 rows to 4″/10cm over lace pat using size 9 (5.5mm) needles.
