This crocheted tam is worked throughout in a hairpin-lace pattern and features a pompom on top for increased styling.

Difficulty level

MATERIALS
• 1 ball in each of #112 red (A), #153 Black (B) and #099 Fisherman of Wool-Ease Chunky by Lion Brand, 5oz/140g balls, each approx 153yd/140m (acrylic/wool)
• 3-prong adjustable hairpin lace loom
• Size K/10½ (6.5mm) crochet hook OR SIZE TO GET GAUGE
• Yarn needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized to fit 20″/51cm to 22″/56cm adult head.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Head circumference 18″/46cm, unstretched

GAUGE
• 20 hairpin lace lps to 4″/10cm using Size K/10½ (6.5mm) crochet hook and hairpin lace loom.
