It looks complex, but this kaleidoscope of a bag starts simply, at the center hexagon. Pick up stitches around five sides and knit out from there, one hex at a time, each starting with two rows of black.

MATERIALS
• Mille Colori by Lang, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 101yd/92m (wool/acrylic)
• 4 balls in #53 rainbow (MC)
• Peruvia by Berroco, Inc. ½oz/100g hanks, each approx 174yd/160m (wool)
• 1 ball in #7134 black (CC)
• One pair size 8 (5mm) needles or size to obtain gauge
• Black handle from Sunbelt Fasteners

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Diameter 20″/51cm

GAUGE
• 18 sts and 25 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 8 (5mm) needles and Mille Colori.
