A netted starfish sits in the center of Omdahl’s shawl whose flower motifs are expressed through six-sided medallions with lace ruffle edging as well as a knitted-on ruffle border.

• 2 6oz/170g skeins (each approx 675yd/617m) of The Great Adirondack Yarn Company Sirino (silk/merino wool) in bella blue
• One set (4) size 5 (3.75mm) double-pointed needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm length
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Motif (point to point) 14″/35.5cm
• Shawl 62″ x 40″/157.5cm x 101.5cm

GAUGE
• 1 motif = 14″/35.5cm after blocking.
• 14 sts and 18 rnds = 4″/10cm in blocked flower motif.
