Stockinette-stitch ruffles are worked with yarn with sequins spun into the skein to add all that jazz to this frilly 1920s-inspired dress.

• 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) skeins in American Beauty (A) of Pure & Simple by Tilli Tomas, 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 260yd/238m (silk)
• 1 skein in Black (B)
• 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins in American Beauty (C) of Disco Lights by Tilli Tomas, 3½oz/100g skeins, each approx 225yd/206m (silk/petite sequins)
• One size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm length OR SIZE TO GET THE GAUGE
• One size 6 (4mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm length
• One size 15 (10mm) needle for binding off
• Stitch holders and stitch markers
