Plaid rules with this stockinette stitch bag with knitted-in plaid front and back, and gusseted with two handles.

Difficulty level

MATERIALS
• 1¾oz/50g skeins (each approx 106yd/120m) of Swedish Yarn Imports Peer Gynt in #1099 black (MC)
• 2 skeins in #4228 red (A)
• 1 skein each #1012 cream (B), #8764 green (C), #2346 gold (D)
• One pair size 7 (4.5 mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Set of size 7 (4.5 mm) dp needles
• Magnetic purse fastener
• Washing machine for felting process
• Fine tip felt marker
• Matching sewing thread
• Sewing machine (optional)

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approx 12″ wide x 7″ high/ 30.5 x 18cm (excluding handles)

GAUGE
• 20 sts and 26 rows = 4″/10 cm over St st using size 7 (4.5 mm) needles.
