This tote boasts five intarsia leaves and a handle created by binding off stitches and casting them back on in the next row. Stems and leaf veins are embroidered on after felting.

Difficulty level

MATERIALS
• One hank of Renaissance by Classic Elite Yarn, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 110yd/100m (wool) each in #7111 lime infusion (MC) and #7102 sicillian sun (CC)
• One pair size 7 (4.5 mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Small amount of dark green needle point yarn
• Tapestry needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 14 x 13½”/35.5 x 34.5cm after felting

GAUGE
• 18 sts and 24 rows to 4″/10cm in St st using size 7 (4.5) needles before felting.
