Doll up a purchased miniskirt by sewing a sassy Fair Isle panel onto the front, then replacing the drawstring with a braided tie ending in a pair of cheery pompoms.

MATERIALS
• GemsWorsted by Louet Sales, 3≤oz/100g skeins, each\ approx 175yd/160m (merino wool)
• 1 skein each in #57 french blue, #15 neptune, #55 willow, #54 teal, #50 sage, #35 mustard, #30 cream
• One pair size 8 (5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN THE GAUGE
• 13″/33cm length store-bought mini skirt with drawstring
• Sewing machine or sewing needle and matching thread and cardboard for pompon template or pompon maker

• Sized for Small.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bottom knitted width 18″/46cm
• Top knitted width 14½”/37cm
• Length 13″/33cm

GAUGE
• 22 sts and 24 rows to 4″/10cm over fair isle chart and St st.
