EARFLAP HAT

Voss Plummer knits her earflap hat from the bottom up, beginning by knitting the garter-stitch earflaps separately and casting on for the lower band. The hat is continued in the round in a trinity-stitch pattern, which augments the mottled look of Noro Cyochin colorway #6. Rustic tassels adorn the earflap points.

• 1 hank of Noro Cyochin in #6
• One size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle, 16”/40cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (4) size 9 (5.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn)
• Stitch holders

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Head circumference 20½”/52cm
•Length 9″/23cm

GAUGE
14 sts and 18 rnds = 4″/10cm over trinity st using size 9 (5.5mm) needles.
