The waffle-stripe pattern is sandwiched by blocks of garter stitching in this cropped shortsleeve capelet. The ribbed collar and garter-stitch ties are stitched separately and sewn on.

• 7 (8, 8, 9, 9) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 107yd/98m) of Russi Sales Heirloom Easy Care 8-Ply (merino superwash) in #719 rose (MC)
• 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) balls in #706 chocolate (CC)
• One pair each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 36″/92cm long
