A faux tweed pattern dots the lapels and cuffs of this I-cord-edged jacket, closed with frogs attached to large decorative toggles. The tweedy effect is achieved with a simple two-color slip-stitch pattern that allows the blue speckles to peek through the gray fabric.

Galway Worsted by Plymouth Yarn Company, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 210yd/192m (wool)
• 6 (7, 8, 9, 9) skeins in #751 gray (MC)
• 1 (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins in #116 blue (CC)
• One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long
• Stitch holders
• 4 leather grounded toggle sets in dark brown (M & J Trimming, www.mjtrim.com)
