This chevron sheath is worked in an allover diagonal slip-stitch garter pattern and neatly finished with cap sleeves and a crew neck.

• 7 (8, 9) hanks in #11 Cherry Red of MerLin Worsted by Louet North America, 3½oz/100 hanks, each approx 156yd/143m (merino/wetspun linen)
• One pair size 6 (4mm) needles OR SIZE TO GET THE GAUGE

GAUGE
• 19 sts and 32 rows to 4″/10cm over garter st using size 6 (4mm) needles.
