A zigzag cable worked with two strands gives this double-breasted coat serious texture while a stand-up collar adds flair. Strategic side-seaming keeps things lean.

• 20 (22) 3½oz/100g hanks (each approx 218yd/199m) of Knit One, Crochet Too Parfait (wool) in #1856 fawn
• One pair size 10½ (6.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle
• Ten ⅞inch/22mm buttons

GAUGE
• 24 sts and 18 rows = 4″/10cm over herring cable pat (unstretched) foll chart, using 2 strands of yarn held tog and size 10½ (6.5mm) needles.
