The intricate open cables on Simola’s close-fitting cap, yield a beautiful, sculptural negative space. Snug fitting cabled cap, worked in the round from the ribbed brim up.

MATERIALS
• 2 1¾oz/50g balls (each 151yd/138m) Rowan/Westminster Fibers, Inc. Kid Classic (lambswool/kid mohair/nylon) in # 851 straw
• One size 6 (4mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long
• One size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm long
• One set (5) size 8 (5mm) double-pointed needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle (cn)
• Stitch marker

SIZES
• Sized for adult woman.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference (stretched) 21″/53.5cm
• Length 7¾”/19.5cm

GAUGES
• 19 sts and 25 rnds = 4″/10cm over St st, using size 8 (5mm) needles.
• One 22-st cable repeat = 3″/7.5cm wide.
