Two perky ears transform a basic stockinette hat into a happy, hoppy must-have accessory. The ears are constructed from two shaped pieces—one pink, the other ivory—that are sewn together and attached to the crown.

MATERIALS
Creme de la Creme by Coats & Clark, 2½oz/71g skeins, each approx 130yd/119m (cotton)
• 1 skein each in #105 ivory (A) and #710 pale pink (B)
• Small amount in #12 black (C)
(for embroidery)
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (4) size 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn)
• Stitch marker

Sized for toddler and child, and shown for child.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Head circumference 16 (18½)”/40.5 (47)cm
• Length 6 (6½)”/15 (16.5)cm

GAUGE
20 sts and 28 rnds to 4″/10cm over St st using larger needles.
