This two-toned crocheted tote is looped with a double strand, with the corresponding strap extending from either end.

Difficulty level

MATERIALS
• 6 skeins of Simply Soft Eco by Caron International, 5oz/142g skeins, each approx 249yd/227m (acrylic/NatureSpun post consumer recycled polyester) in #30 violet plum (MC)
• 2 skeins in #31 mulberry mist (CC)
• One size H-8 (5mm) crochet hook
• One size K-10≤ (6.5mm) crochet hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One size 50 (25mm) knitting needle/broomstick pin
• 2 purse snap fasteners with prongs
• Piece of plastic canvas or cardboard 4½ x 18″/11.5 x 45.5cm
• Yarn needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Width 22″/56cm (at widest point)
• Height 14″/35.5cm (not including handles)

GAUGE
• 10 st and 12 rows to 4″/10cm over sc, with 2 strands held tog, using larger hook.
