Hale’s braided cowl is pretty enough to double as jewelry. Four cables knit in separate strips and graduating lengths attach to each other at intervals to form this innovative neckpiece.

• 2 1.4oz/40g hanks (each approx 330yd/302m) Buffalo Gold Lux (bison/silk/cashmere/tencel) in lupine
• One pair size 6 (4mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle
• Split stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference at upper edge 20″/51cm
• Circumference at lower edge 26″/66cm
•Width approx 9½”/24cm

GAUGES
• 24 sts and 32 rows = 4″/10cm over St st using size 6 needles.
• Cable strip = approx 2″/5cm wide (unstretched)
