Mor’s medallion cardigan is stitched in the round from the center out. The wide border is worked in a band composed of stitches that vary in row gauge. Complete the piece with a crocheted edging.

• 6 (7) 2.3oz/65g hanks (each approx 150yd/137m) of Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed (organically grown cotton) in #31 clay
For Size X-Small/Small only
• One set (4) size 5 (3.75mm) double-pointed needles and one size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle 24″/60cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
For Size Medium/Large only
• One set (4) size 7 (4.5 mm) double-pointed needles and one size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle 24″/60cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
For both sizes
• Size 6 (4mm) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size G-6 (4mm) crochet hook.
• Cable needle, stitch markers (one of a different color), tapestry needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized for X-Small/Small and Medium/Large and shown in size X-Small/Small.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Cross-back 14 (16)”/35.5 (40.5)cm
• Total diameter when flat 34 (38)”/86.5 (94)cm

GAUGES
• 20 sts and 32 rows = 4″/10 cm over St st using size 5 (3.75) needles (after blocking).
• 18 sts and 30 rows = 4″/10 over St st using size 7 needles (after blocking).
• 20 sts and 16 rows = 4″/10cm over trinity st using size 6 (4mm) needles.
