Why settle for a single partridge? Five different sizes of birds are knitted flat, folded, stuffed and seamed. Yarn eyes and tails are added in finishing, as are the felt-cut wings, which are attached with fabric glue.

Lamb’s Pride Bulky by Brown Sheep Company, 4oz/113g skeins, each approx 125yd/114m (wool/mohair)
• 2 skeins in #M11 white frost
• Small amount of dk or worsted weight yarn in red for eyes, tails and ties
• One pair size 10 (6mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Red felt for wings
• Fabric glue
• Polyester stuffing
• Yarn needle

5 sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large.
KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Width before stuffing 3½ (5, 5½, 6, 63⁄4)”/9 (12.5, 14, 15, 17)cm
• Folded length before stuffing 1¼ (1½, 2, 2½, 3)”/3 (4, 5, 6.5, 7.5)cm
GAUGE
13 sts and 20 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 10 (6mm) needles.
