• 2 4oz/115g hanks (each approx 480yd/439m) of Sweet Georgia Flaxen Silk Fine (silk/linen) in birch
• One pair size 4 (3.5mm) needles, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Approx 600 beads in an assortment of shapes, sizes and colors. Beads must be large enough to be strung onto yarn. Sample uses a mix of size 8 demi-round and round Japanese seed beads, size 6 round Japanese seed beads, 3.8mm O-bead seed beds, and 4mm round glass beads.
• Sewing needle fine enough to pass through bead openings and thread.
• Size 8 cotton embroidery floss in 4 different colors and tapestry needle for knotted tufts (optional).

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 13½”/34.5cm x 56″/142cm

GAUGE
27 sts and 31 rows = 4″/10cm over St st using size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
