Patrick’s perfectly pretty shrug boasts a garter bodice and unique short, bell-shaped sleeves in an easy openwork pattern. Strands of yarn threaded through the center front create the soft ruched look; a chain-stitched drawstring gathers in the lower edge.

• 8 (8, 9,10) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 55yd/50m) of Dale of Norway Ara in #404 beige mix
• One pair size 11 (8mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 7 (4.5mm) crochet hook and one ¾-inch/20mm button
• Stitch markers

• Sized for X-Small/Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. Shown in size Medium.

GAUGES
• 11 sts and 24 rows = 4″/10cm over garter st using size 11 (8mm) needles
• 11 sts and 16 rows = 4″/10cm over openwork pat st using size 11 (8mm) needles.
