Big yarn and big needles let you speed through this gorgeously variegated scarf, of pure wool, in a three-stitch rib. When changing skeins, leave the long tails loose at the edges.

MATERIALS
• 5 hanks in Point Five by Colinette/Unique Kolours, Ltd., 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 55yd/50m (pure wool) in #153 madras
• One pair size 17 (12mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• 8 x 70″/20.5 x 177.5cm (without fringe)

GAUGE
• 12 sts and 20 rows to 4″/10cm over pattern st using size 17 (12mm) needles.
